Friends and Neighbours

Friends and Neighbours – a heart-warming journey of self-discovery

Jenny is grief stricken due to the loss of her best friend. Her side gig as a Marie Osmond impersonator is only making
matters worse, amplifying her loneliness. When newlyweds move in next door, she hopes that the woman over the fence will become a new friend but vulgar Dawn is not her type. Loving husband Lonny notices that these days no one is her type. That is until glamorous Trudi arrives at the Creative Writing Class and Jenny quickly becomes smitten. She arranges a party to invite her new friend to but the pressure to find other women to attend is too much and she has a meltdown on stage as Marie. The future looks bleak, she doesn’t seem to have anything in common with anyone. How can she possibly fill the female shaped hole in her life?

An earthy, feel good British comedy drama, the perfect read for our troubled times.
